Fanfiction Submission Guidelines

Every fanfiction you submit to our group must contain the following information at the top of each chapter. The same applies if you would like to submit your Fan Fiction as a pdf file: all the information below must be included at the top of the actual pdf file itself.

1. :star: Rating

Acceptable ratings are:
:bulletgreen: G (K in FanFiction. Net’s terms)
:bulletgreen: PG (K+ in FanFiction. Net’s terms)
:bulletgreen: PG-13 (T in FanFiction. Net’s terms)

Unacceptable ratings are:

:bulletred: R (M in FanFiction. Net’s terms)
:bulletred: NC-17 (M+ in FanFiction. Net’s terms)
Therefore, no adult content is allowed.

2. :star: Summary

A short summary of the fic itself.

3. :star: Disclaimer

Disclaimer: a line stating that Eoin Colfer owns the Artemis Fowl universe.

4. :star: Warnings

:bulletgreen: Slash warning in case the fanfic is slash
:bulletgreen: swearing
:bulletgreen: moderate violence
:bulletgreen: sexual allusions (as far as PG-13 allows that) or
:bulletgreen: character death.

Other Requirements:

:star: The Language of FanFic

Fanfics are only accepted in English.

:star: Proper Grammar/Spelling

Proper grammar/spelling is a basic requirement. We do not expect everyone to write with perfect grammar as we know that many fanfic writers’ native language isn’t English, but we must at least see that you are trying to comply with the rules of English grammar. A few typos and grammar mistakes per chapter are acceptable, a lot of them is not. You might be asked by our fanfic moderators to correct some of your grammar/spelling mistakes before they accept your story.

:star: Submission Limits

:bulletgreen: In case of multi-chaptered fanfics, the limit is 1 chapter per 2 days.
:bulletgreen: In case of one-shot FanFics: 1 submission per day.

:star: Titles

If you are submitting a multi-chaptered story, please give the chapters titles consequentially so that the reader does not get confused as to which story your new chapter belongs to.

E.g. your titles should be like “Holly's Quest 1”, “Holly’s Quest 2”, or “Holly's Quest Part 1”, “Holly's Quest Part 2”,etc. which one matters little, as long as the given titles satisfy the requirement of consequentiality.

:star: Chapter Length

This is a special rule for very small chapters and applies to them only. You may group small chapters together up to a length of 5 Microsoft Word Pages, with text size of not less than 10, and post it for approval as one submission. The daily limit in this case is 1 submission per 2 days.
